Helped with fathers funeral, helped with arranging care for my mother - then SHUNNED again!!

well i have not been on this site for ages - so long that i had forgotten my username etc and have had to start again!.

anyway briefly - bought up in 'the truth', baptised at 18, married at 21, had kids, got divorced, remarried, disfellowshipped 15 years ago.. parents and brother shun me.. early last year father very ill, calls me.

i arrange to visit him in hospital.

my late jw dad was in a care home for the last 3 years of his life. i visited him every other day. there was no contact from any jw's for the last 12 months.

now, the war is over, the weapons were not used and of course have not been found.. how threatening could they be if they did not even use them when being invaded by a massive force (of the countries they hate)?!

perhaps, as many suspect, they didn't use them because they didn't have them?.

now we're being told that we'll have to be patient and give them time to find them.

Chilcot reported that nothing was found after troops invaded in 2003.

Saddam did use weapons of mass destruction--chemicals

Saddam did launch ballistic missiles against Israel

ok--his rockets had a limited range at the time---and could not have reached the uk----but they certainly could hit Israel--with satan knows what payload on board. and Israel has a reputation of hitting back hard. easy to see one huge middle east conflict costing millions of lives.

hmmmm

so--what would we say about Blair now if he had done nothing--and saddam had launched a chemical attack against Israel--who then responded with a nuclear strike against Baghdad ?

if i remember--saddam did launch his missiles against israel at the start of the first war--largely knocked down by american patriot missiles.
